handmade poco工房は、幼稚園教諭 & 保育士の資格と経験を持つ岡田佳子が、夫の転勤を機に独学で始めたハンドメイドの工房です。
元々「可愛い」が大好きな私ですが、ハンドメイドでも「可愛い」はもちろん、常に仕上がりが美しく、丈夫で長持ちを一番に心がけて、一つ一つ丁寧にオリジナル雑貨を手作りしています。
好きな事は、とことん研究して突き詰めて行くタイプなので、使いやすく丈夫な雑貨作りをずっと試行錯誤して来ました。 その結果、生地選び デザイン決め 雑貨作りのレシピなども一人で楽しく真剣に行なっています。
製作においては、生地の水通し 接着芯貼り 裁断 縫製など、どの工程も手を抜かず丁寧に行います。 そのため、poco工房のお客様は「poco工房の雑貨は、仕上がりが綺麗で長く愛用しても型崩れがしない。 作りが丁寧なのが、よく分かる」と言って下さいます。 ハンドメイド活動がきっかけで始めた洋裁教室も大好評で、生徒さん一人一人が楽しく製作に励んでいます。

Handmade Poco Workshop is a handmade studio started by Yoshiko Okada, who has qualifications and experience as a kindergarten teacher and childcare worker, on the occasion of her husband's job transfer.
I have always loved "cute" things, and in my handmade creations, I prioritize not only "cuteness" but also beautiful finishes, durability, and longevity. I carefully handcraft original goods, paying attention to every detail. I tend to thoroughly research and delve into what I love, so I have been experimenting with creating practical and durable items for a long time.
As a result, I enjoy and take my work seriously in selecting fabrics, deciding on designs, and creating recipes for my goods. In the production process, I do not cut corners and handle every step—such as pre-washing fabrics, applying interfacing, cutting, and sewing—meticulously.
Because of this, our customers say, "The products from Poco Workshop have beautiful finishes and do not lose their shape even after long use. You can really tell that the craftsmanship is meticulous."
The sewing classes that started as a result of my handmade activities have also been very well received, and each student is happily engaged in their creations.
