Michiyo Kaneda
Nice to meet you. My name is Michiyo Kaneda, a certified Hanahime® designer active in Japan. Using washi, a traditional Japanese material, I carefully create Japanese-inspired works such as Hanahime® dolls and maneki-neko (lucky cats), crafting each piece with heartfelt dedication. While cherishing each encounter with the gentle texture and beautiful colors and patterns of washi, I strive to create works that convey the delicacy and warmth unique to Japan. I also offer lessons in making nerikiri, a traditional Japanese confection. Through these classes, I share the beauty of seasonal wagashi and the depth of Japanese culture.
In the future, I plan to create decorative nerikiri-inspired soaps (art pieces for display) that capture the delicate beauty of nerikiri in a new form. I am preparing with excitement for the day I can introduce this new expression of Japanese aesthetics to everyone.

はじめまして。 日本で活動している華姫®認定デザイナーの金田美千代です。
日本の伝統素材である和紙を使い、 華姫®や招き猫などの和の作品を、ひとつひとつ心を込めて制作しています。 和紙のやさしい風合いや美しい色柄との出会いを大切にしながら、 日本ならではの繊細さや温もりを感じていただける作品づくりを心がけています。 また、日本の伝統和菓子「練り切り」のレッスンも行っており、 四季を映す和菓子の美しさや、日本文化の奥深さをお伝えしています。
今後は、練り切りの美しさをかたちにした 装り用の練り切り石鹸（観賞用アート作品）の制作にも取り組んでいく予定です。 新しい和の表現として、皆さまにお披露目できる日を楽しみに準備を進めております。 和紙の美しさと、練り切りの繊細な世界観。 日本のやさしい美を、世界の皆さまへお届けできましたら幸いです。 どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
