“Tatamiberry”

The name is a combination of "tatami edging" and "strawberry."

The first product is a small, fluffy, strawberry-like charm bag that takes advantage of the lightness and firmness of tatami edging.

With the hope that children in this COVID-19 pandemic will be okay, we created this bag by adding a wish to the Kanae knot and the sound of the bell.

The brand name that was born from this product, "Tatamiberry," is filled with the feelings of that day and the origins of our manufacturing...

[About tatami borders]

Tatami borders are primarily used to protect the edges of tatami mats, but there are currently over 1,000 different types, including a wide variety of colors, patterns, and designs.

There are also several different types of thread, such as hemp, cotton, and synthetic fibers.

The combination of these various textures and patterns and designs creates differences in the thickness and firmness of the fabric.

All of Tatamiberry's works make use of the "lightness and firmness" of tatami borders.

We would be very happy if you could become familiar with the feel and texture of tatami border fabric through our works.

それは「畳縁（たたみべり）と「ストロベリー」を

かけ合わせた名前です。

第一号の作品は、畳縁の軽さとハリを活かした

ふっくらいちごのような小さなお守り袋。

コロナ禍、子どもたちに

「だいじょうぶだよ…。」の気持ちを込めて、

叶結びと鈴の音に願いを添えて作りました。

この作品から生まれたブランド名

『Tatamiberry』には、あの日の想いと、

ものづくりの原点がつまっています…。
